CEDO self-assessment standards

In the context of data quality, CEDO plays a central key role in strategic oversight, risk management, standards and policy development, stakeholder engagement, performance monitoring, and communication with executive management. The following standardized assessment template is proposed to conduct the evaluation of CEDO data quality practices at a regular cadence.

The following aspects are considered when evaluating the progress made by ADO on Data Quality:

  • Strategic Data Quality bodies: evaluates that strategic decision-making related to data quality is effective through a company Data Governance Advisory Board

  • Domain Structuring: assessment of progress in the structuring of business areas and data domains

  • Roles: evaluates progress in the appointment of BDOs to identified Business Areas

  • Enablement: assessment of progress in terms of training and data literacy related to data quality for BDOs

  • Monitoring Processes: evaluates progress in the monitoring related to data quality capabilities
