The following roles are defined as a standalone section in the ADO portal which constitutes the reference on this subject: * Data Owner (DO) * Data Steward (DS Tech) * Data producer * Data Consumer

Within the R&D teams, certain data quality activities are being performed by team members in addition to their official responsibilities, including the roles of Business Process Owner and Data Quality Analyst, which are not formally defined within the enterprise organizational structure. These roles will be detailed further in the framework’s description of capabilities, regardless of whether they are officially defined or currently being performed unofficially by R&D team members.

As these roles are used throughout several sections of the Data Quality Framework, we have added synthetic descriptions of the roles in the Key Terms & Abbreviations and the DQF Resource Center for readability. Please note that the Data Quality Framework does not constitute a reference for the definition of these roles.
