Business Process Owner
In the context of the Data Quality Framework, the role of Business Process Owner is used in reference to the following scope of responsibility:
Accountability for Data Quality: Takes ownership of the quality of data generated and used within their business processes.
Definition of Data Requirements: Defines the data requirements for their business processes. Identifies how data will be used within the business process and ensures that it meets the needs of all stakeholders
Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities for improving data quality within their business processes.
Quality Metrics: Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics specific to data quality within their business processes.
