Intended Audience
The intended audience for the Data Quality Framework includes a wide range of stakeholders within the enterprise who are involved in or impacted by Data Quality Management
Data Governance Advisory Board: Executives who are responsible for strategic decision-making related to data quality.
Central Data Office (CEDO): Cross-functional group of Business Lines’ representatives tasked with agreeing data quality guidelines, standards, and priorities.
Business Lines Data Offices (BLDO): Acting as a relay of the ADO for their respective Business Lines, BDOs are responsible to fit their specific business domain’s needs while adhering to the overall guidelines and standards set by the the enterprise Data Office.
Data Owners (DO): Accountable for the overall management and maintenance of specific data assets, including ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and adherence to data quality standards.
Data Stewards (DS): Subject-matter experts who manage specific data domains and ensure adherence to data quality standards within their respective data assets.
Business Lines’ R&D Teams: Data engineers, data architects, database administrators, and developers, who contribute to data quality through data modeling, integration, and system maintenance.
Data Quality Teams within Business Lines’ R&D: Dedicated team responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving data quality initiatives.
Legal: Professionals in charge of ensuring adherence to data-related regulatory requirements and industry standards.
CISO: Responsible for the security and protection of sensitive data throughout its lifecycle. Although not directly involved in day-to-day data quality management activities, the CISO’s role is essential for maintaining the overall integrity and trustworthiness of an the enterprise’ data asset.
Business Users: Professionals who use data in their daily work, such as analysts, data scientists, and operational staff, to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
External Stakeholders: Customers, partners who may rely on the enterprise’ data. They contribute by providing feedback and helping to define data quality expectations based on their needs and preferences.
