Progress monitoring
As the enterprise deploys Data Quality sustainability practices across teams, it is essential to be able to measure progress, identify key challenges and implement relevant actions to sustain practice improvements.
The following standardized assessment template is proposed to conduct the evaluation on data quality remediation practices at a regular cadence.
Sustainability Practices Assessment template

The following aspects are considered when evaluating the progress made by BDOs on Data Quality sustainability:
Standards Adoption: evaluates the BDOs progress in reviewing the proposed standards, proposing potential amendments that are specific to their context, and validating the standards for their use.
Stakeholder identification: evaluates the progress made by BDOs in putting in place key prerequisites for the execution of sustainable corrective measures and preventive actions, such as identifying stakeholders and assigning responsibilities.
Incidents resolution: ensures that sustainable actions are implemented and results are made accessible to the relevant parties, like BDOs, Data Owners, Data Stewards. This helps evaluate the actual progress made in putting in practice data quality sustainability guidelines and standards proposed by the Data Quality Framework.
Policy and Procedure: evaluates that relevant policies and procedures are updated to make sure practices are changed sustainably.

The sustainability practices assessment template is part of the overall Self-Assessment template that can be found in the Data Quality Framework documentation center.
